My last post was rather sad, and so I feel the need to counteract my somber mood from yesterday with THIS:

Meet the Okapi, Sir Wikipedia informs me that, “Okapia johnstoni, is a giraffid artiodactyl mammal native to the Ituri Rainforest, located in the northeast of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, in Central Africa. Although the okapi bears striped markings reminiscent of the zebra, it is most closely related to the giraffe.”

Also, random fact: Okapi are one of only animals where the females are usually larger than the males.

On a scale of 1-10 of how awesome these animals are, they score “EPIC BADASS”

So much neatness exists in the world, if only there was a way for me to learn ALL OF IT. That’d be nice. Until then, another thing to add to my list to things to do: chill with an Okapi.

    i’m guessing these animals are:
    a) hybrids that can’t reproduce
    b) a creation of photoshop
considering the picture and that your source is wiki i prefer the latter
